2001 Grand Am gt Vs. 1995 stang

One of my friends has a 01 Grand Am gt and says he can smoke me and he's all stock. I mean i know he can probally beat me but not smoke me. I have a 95 sixer with a cold air intake and a custom h-pipe with flowmaster 40's. Also were both auto so..

what do yall think?

What mods would that be?

I would say anything older than your car thats not labeled: GT,si,dohc,vvti - you should be safe

LOL but on a serious note full bolt ons and a tune and gears and u will take that grand am gt down to ownage town. PS sss very helpful.... not

hes car is probably a second faster then urs...lol...damn shame this doesnt say much for either cars haha...neways things that can help...split port swap def. .....Longtubes, throttle body maybe.....def a tune regardless of what u have would help too....but a split port swap with LTs and a tune would take him easy....or throw on a 50shot and new spark plugs...u should beat him that way...cheapest way too

Hes lighter than you are and quick as hell off the line. Hey at least your car wont break down after 4 years of driving it. Those grand ams are a piece!!

4.10 LT's and a tune should just about do it. mabey throw some pulleys one there for good measure.
