My friend has a 02 Mitsubishi eclipse GT, the one with the V6 in it, would i be able to beat it? we both auto, i got exhaust and cai

id think so. the gt-s and the gsx are the ones to watch out for. cause ones turbo, and the other is turbo and awd.

ive raced the 02 GTs when i was just intake and exhaust or stock i dont remember..they're not too slow.
it'll be a drivers race i say.

i beat one but it wasnt from start we were already doing 40 then just floored it and i beat him to the next light at around 85-90 mph

dude all i have done to my automatic GT is the intake and a superchips tuner and i havnt lost to a gt eclipse yet, ive beaten stock gsx's and slightly modded gst's. unless you have a messed up foot that doesnt alow u to put the pedal all the way down, there is no way that mitsubishi should win at any form of racin against you :

but the OP doesn't have a gt, hence the eclipse will win. trust me I have owned both.

You have a 2004 V6 right? Then honestly you will most likely lose unless your buddy screws up while racing you. Those v6 eclipses are faster than a v6 stang, sorry to tell you.
