hey,

so i have a buddy who's got a 5.0

all he has done to it is a mac cai and an o/r h-pipe. it's a 5-speed. i know these cars are a heckuva lot lighter (and thus faster) than mine stock... so i was wondering with my pi intake if i'd be close? and i'm a bit better driver than him as well.

It depends, I would say he's still got the better shot, but it may come down to the driving. Also if you're starting from a standstill, a cost, etc.

But she is right he will problly have you beat. What year 5.0 87-92

It will come down to a drivers race or who can hook up better at the start and not spin

d'oh. he's in an 87 gt. i've heard the ground fx on those cars make them a little bit heavier? don't suppose it's enough to make a difference though...

Yeah it doesnt even add enough to make an LX beat it stock for stock running the cars are the same.

He should beat you unless hes not that good of a driver
