5.0 vs. 5.0 liter race

who do you guys think will win...

a 1986 5.0 Mustang (in awesome shape with under 80,000 miles)
-10.5" M/T slicks
-BBK long tubes
-BBK o/r h-pipe (dumped with no mufflers)
-Steeda Tri-ax shifter
-minor weight reduction
-perfect T-5 transmission

-or-

a 2001 4.6 Mustang (also in great shape)
-bone stock
-automatic

I have no idea on this one, I think its going to depend on the roll or if it is from a stop. Help me out...

thats what i want to hear... my 4 eyes are actually covered up it looks kinda cool, it has a black cover

the 5.0 will win... barely though. All it'll take the 4.6 to pull on you though is, exhaust, and intake upgrades.

yep i don't know why there doubting the little 4.6 so bad the 86 has less hp then the 87-93 id say yes if you had heads or a cam.. just go race and let us know

As long as the driver w/ the 86 can drive, he will win. If the 4.6 didn't have a stock slushbox, it would win. Seen similar races before.
