04 v6 vs srt-4

There is a guy in my town named Forbes and he has an Srt-4 w/ just and exhaust w/ a 3" down pipe. I know right now its out of my league, but he's always bashing my stang but refuses to race my buds GT. I have GT rear end, intake, and true dual exhaust.

What other mods would be required to run w/ him? plz and thx

nitrous would help.

think as if your challenging a 99-04 GT mustang.

the Srt is right in the same league as one.

i dont want to have to go the n2o route. Any other suggestions thatll be under $500 w/ install to at least keep up?

hmm...under 500 and keep up? im not sure that possible...gears would help. N2o is a pretty easy route.

your going to have to spend alot more than $500 to keep up. if he cant drive, with downpipe, and exhaust, he could easily be a mid 13 second car, with a really nice trap, and would be even more lethal on the street from a roll.

your going to need boost to even think about taking him on.

You have no chance in hell without nitrous I owned a 2005 SRT-4 and my 98 modded GT does well to keep up with them. If it is a 2003 SRT-4 you chances just went from in your dreams to spray the whole race and barely beat him. The 2003 SRT-4 only had 215hp but the 04 and 05 had 240hp and they weigh nothing. Speaking of spray does anyone know what the cheapest and best kit for spray is for the 98 GT?? I want to drop bout a second and a half....

lol a 98 GT stock is not ever hanging with a SRT-4
and with that 1/8 time you may have very well raced a SRT-4 that cannot drive

Tell him to quit being a pussy and race your buddies GT. He's an idiot if he only wants to race your V6. You two racing wouldn't even be close to fair, unless you were spraying...and then I don't even know if you could beat him.
