i dont race much, and if i do its with my friends, but what do you guys do if someone pulls up next to you in a car that u know is going to beat you, do u race and hope for the best or just him off like hes got nothin on u.

happens to me ALOT!
my car looks like a v8, so i get all kinda of GT's, SRT-4s and the lighting trucks reving at me and all..
when the light turns green i just drive normal and watch them floor it...
better then having your ass handed to you. although i did race and SRT-4 for fun once and a WRX in my v6...the srt-4 kinda shocked me, its not that fast

the WRX took me though easy



basically aviod it and drive off slow,
but if you want you never know. i raced a dakota truck once, i coulda SWORN i was gunna lose, i was reving me engine cuz i thought i was racing a stock neon, then the truck pulled up and won actually
but if your 100% ur gunna lose, just drive slow. your not gay cuz u didnt race lol

i was wondering about the WRX, cause the WRX STI is the fast version of it, can a 6er take a regular WRX

I doubt a V6 without quite a few mods could take a WRX...They are decently fast...

never ran on a track...idk where any are around here ...im not sure what he was doing...we raced i'd say 1/8 an he won by 2 car lengths maybe, i'd say 1 1/2 about

yeah I have seen them go 14 flat but I have also seen them go 15's its all about the driver

around my area, there are alot of dickheads in G35s and 350zs, can a gt take those? and i someone said in another post a v6mustang can easily take an eclipse but what about a 3000gt?

ok well I'm driving a stock 06 GT 5 speed manual and I've crushed eclipses, modded RSX-type S, old vintage modded muscule cars, 350z's, a few random WRX's (not STI because the STI is just insanely fast) my friends audi TT, and other punks in the austin area. Even though their cars may be better engine wise, for me the biggest part of these races is definately the launch. I've mastered how to launch without burning the tires and really if you want to become a better racer, go to a parking lot and just practice launching until you can go 0-60 without spinning your wheels and giving up valuable distance. That alone has given me the edge in almost all of my races because once you get past 2nd gear, you're usually just blazing ahead of them and the only thing they see are your taillights. Oh and don't half ass a race, push your car to it's limits and don't shift early unless you're confident you have them outclassed. Now go show them what you're car can really do

3000gts are weak i have to say ive seen alot of people repping them like are the fastest ricers around but they usually wont even race but they are like any other car if you do enough you will win some races. i havent seen a modded out one in person but seen alot of pathetic excuse for a sports car stock ones get spanked imho they are one of the most highly overated cars
