Mach n Lightning

My buddy has an 04 Mach 1, 5-speed, only mods are a short shifter and chip.
He is buying a stock 1999 Lightning tis weekend.
Which one will be faster down the track?

Yes, and it was really a back and forth argument for both vehicles, but there is a huge difference between a 2V GT and a 4V Mach1.

see thats what I told him, but he tried to tell me the lighting had soo much more torque it would win and i was like if you say so lol

mach ftw. lightnings do have alot of torque, but more weight and less aerodynamics. both are pretty quick. as long as your freind can drive

the 96-98 cobra is literally the same as a 03-04 mach 1 engine wise..... i think...
