04 v6stang vs 00 eclipse


A guy at my work has a stock 2000 eclipse gt. i checked its specs online and it has:

200 hp
205 flbs of torque

from a dig who would win

i have an auto w/ true dual magnaflows, k&n cai and spare tire removed.

he has stock gt w/ a stick

he would.

200/205 >190>210? he's lighter .. so I would call it a drivers race with him having the edge.

plus he has 3 10 inch subs and 2 amps in his trunk so thats weight on his side. he said it doesnt slow him down, but w/e. thx for the fast reply, so how do i compare w/ that added in.

total weight divided by total power. The smaller the number, the faster you go (all else being equal).

u will lose ,those eclipse's are pretty quick,they go 0-60 in like 6.5 secs

i didnt know spare tire removed was a mod

guess its as good as much silencer delete

-3042 Lbs.
-0-60 is 8.3 seconds on average (check consumersguideauto.com)
-200 hp
-205 lbs torque
-about a hundred lbs of sound system in the trunk
-stock

2004 V6 Mustang

-3257 lbs.
-0-60 is 8.3 seconds on average (Car and Driver Magazine)
-190 hp
-220 lbs torque
-intake & true dual magnaflows

Like HMUSN said, drivers race
