Helmet selection?
So Ive been autocrossing wit my stang this season, and I wanna get my own helmet. I will definately be draggin my stang as well and possibly racing on a road course such as watkins glens or the like. SCCA is fairly easy are far as helmets go, if they have Snell/Dot approval your good. I heard that big road course require helemts wit nomex lining, is this tru? What requirements do drags strips have? Can I run open face helemts at all of them? Englishtown is the closest to me btw. I wanna get one helmet that I can use for all 3 and I dont wanna spend $500 if I can avoid it. So what do you guys suggest? Thanx!
