GT vs Evo VIII

i jus bought a 02 GT not to long ago, with a Vortech S-trim, 4:10 gears, and full exhaust. Dynoed @ 401rwhp on race gas. Very fast. But im wondering if its anuff to beat a friend of mine in the 1/4. He has an Evo with 350-360awhp. Let me kno what you guys think

just go race the guy and make sure its on the track. We don't need another damn thread with will my car beat this car. Just quit being a pussy and go race him.

I agree just race him, you will probably win. But even if you loose it won't be by much. Sometimes those evos can be a bitch to launch.

lol, whats your problem man? that was out of line(especially with this being the guys first post). i dont see why some of u guys have such a problem with threads like these.

before we can give u a good opinion we need to know what kind of rear tires youll be using.

u know if your car has any suspension mods?

cause his first post could of been in the newb section saying hi to everyone, not can i beat this car. Thats how demello came on to this board and looked how that situation has turned out lol.

I raced one that was making similar numbers 365hp. I got beat in the 1/8th, 8.0 to 8.2 but would I believe I would have got him in the 1/4. He could launch at 7k rpm and barely spin with the AWD so he killed me on the 60ft time.
