I've seen two Infinity G35 Sport cars (the 4door versions) go flat 14's. And yes, we're talking 14.00 and it was in June of 07 at Beech bend. I'll try to find the pic again that showed them and the 14.00 ET on the board. But my point is, the 2door version should be good for 13's stock since it should also weigh less than the 4door luxury family car that has the same motor.

ya please dont use magazine logic....the real world and magazine world are entirely different....magazines say the charger srt8 should be smoking me like crazy but i've raced a few and they arent all that tough...hell i think the g37 gave me a harder time than the high end charger

I'm still searching for the pic, but here are the two cars that cut flat 14's...

I went to the guys galley and found a motor shot of the black G35s that ran a flat 14 and it looks like the 3.5L DOHC V6, so if you raced the car with the 3.7L DOHC V6 it's a lot quicker.
I still can't tell for sure if this says 3.5 or 3.7 since I'm blind as crap.

Edit, it's the 07 G35s with 306hp 3.5L dohc V6.
Here is his post after the track day.

So yeah, if the G35s 4 door can do flat 14 ET's with the 3.5L 306hp V6, then the G37 with the 3.7L 330hp V6 should be good for mid 13's easy.

Some kid in a bone stock, 2-door G35 come up to me and wanted a race. It was one of the worst beatings I ever handed out. Pointless story, but I enjoy re-living the moment in my mind.

07 g35's are AWD(so its a bit better off the line the the G37) and the suspension for the G37's dont really make a good car to take off with. it is possible to make a G37 run mid 13's but you wont see it much, just like you wont see much S197's run low 13's stock.

that was kindof dumb IMO and both of u took the race too far. yeah i used to do quick races from redlight to redlight(before i got caught) but ive never gone through a city/town at speeds like that. i hope u control yourself better next time. |

Yep agree but it happens more then you would think. SRT-8s like my superbee are automatics and with the stick in the GT500 most of the races are lost at the line when the GT500 goes up in smoke. Really it is pretty easy to get 400+RWHP out of the srt-8. Hearders and a cold air intake will do the trick. If you give it a 75 shot of juice or go with a JETPACK ECU plug in you will beat most GT500s unless the driver really knows what he/she is doing.
