well last friday i had a race night with some friends. the cars consisted of a CRX, me a 2000 v6 stang, a later 90's civic, a 1979 subaru(the flamespitter), a 2006 impreza, an elantra, 2002 BMW 325, 1994 benz e class, and i think that was it. well i raced the CRX, both subarus, the 90's civic and i beat all of them.
except the civic from a stop, because i couldnt gain traction(damn 1 wheel burnout lol) but then we went from a 30mph roll and he had nothing on me then. also the impreza beat me from a stop then we did a 20mph roll and i walked him too. im trying to find my camera cables so i can upload the video to my comp and then youtube or something. once i get it i will post the videos. but that night i was spitting flames too. my y pipe was broken off right after it connected to the exhaust manifold. but its fixed now.

lol K&N filter thats it. i ran a 10.34 in the 1/8. the impreza was driven by a cocky 18 year old and it was auto. he was manually shifting so i dont know why i won lol. he was dumb when it came to cars. he said when it was in D instead of manually shifting when he guns it, it drops a gear. and i just at him. so dumbass + nice car = lose to v6 stang?

haha ya he was. he popped his hood to show off his shiny CAI. he said this is my only mod but its badass and makes the car fast. i was like roflskates. learn your shit boy. it did look good but thats about it. oh ya he had a fart can on the back. sounded good wasnt to high pitched nor could i fit my head in it

their gears are made for acceleration, although i cud be wrong (imprezas being my favorite cars)

a stock impreza N/A (what i raced) is like 173hp and weighs 3111lbs so the stang has a better power:weight ratio than a stock impreza. from a dig they will more than likely win due to awesome awd also they dont have much low end torque. suprise surprise. so its no surprise really that i won. i was just expecting him to put up a better fight.

So you didn't race the 3 series? How did it do against the other guys if it even raced? My friend has one and I wanted to see what to expect of it if I was to race him.

nah i didnt race the benz. but ive messed with him before and he was pretty slow. its like a 93 or 94 i think he said.
the crx kept up with the impreza from a dig, suprisingly, but in the end the impreza won. but im the only one he lost to. the crx beat the 2002 BMW.... made me rofl because that kid talks shit like nobodies business.

Was that in a striaght line or was BMW automatic because that is a pretty embarrasing loss. I mean I've seen pretty fast CRXs and they handle pretty well but either that CRX was very upgraded or the BMW driver needs to learn how to drive. I mean the BMW should be able to beat every car there but yours at least on paper.

the BMW was an auto(for shame ) but he was manualy shifting. it wasnt a straight line the street curved. but the CRX was stock from what we could see except a fart can and CAI but mainly stock. it didnt sound cam'd but who knows what he did to the engine. sounded like any other ricer to me
