Pinks getting better?

Yeah, like the show, especially "All Out"... would be a blast just to be there and run. Believe the show is great for an upcoming gen of potential "car guys" who can get off their cans and translate computer skills into tuning while putting a wrench in hand...

I dont like it because Rich looks like a total tool, just underhanding everyone, giving the best guy like 10k when he walks away with probably 10xs that.
And then theres the racing. everyone knows that everyone else is sandbagging. every show ends with one guy miraculously beating the "close" other. And every run the somehow get louder and faster... Rich doesnt really give a S*** because he just wants to make it look legit and clean so he can walk away with his $$$$$$.
the tournament thing is ok i guess, as long as people are getting money. Its just bad "acting" on rich's part...
If they gave away more money to first place (15k?) and a decent second place amount (5k?) and got some actually good imports (not just "rice", but some german pride, turbo bmw anyone?)
And what would be really sick is get actual good shops to go at it... maybe not for pinks but for a cash throwdown. HPF, AMS, BUSCHER Racing, DYNOFLASH, Hennesy............. that would be sick. Some real cars going at it on national tv for a good amount of money.
heck throw in an actually good host... maybe some very attractive ladies? or somone who isnt annoying and way fake?

pinks used to suck - it was 4 minutes of race and 56 minutes of bull. i think they fixed that and made the races better as well.

i'm still not a fan of the pinks all out....i got much more enjoyment outta the regular pinks but like you said couple mins of racing mostly talk, if they could fit like 2 different matchups for pinks into a 1 hour segmant and cut down on alot of the blabbin it'd be alot better in my honest opinion

when PINKS came out i watched that show but slowly that show got stupid. it's suppose to be like racing in the streets (w/ the arm dropping) but we dont give people car lengths in the streets, it's ALWAYS heads up racing, run what you brung! the stupidest comment rich ever said was "i can beat a ferrari w/ a yugo, because i'm going to out negotiate him" if it wasnt for all out i wouldnt watch that show at all!

pink's is just retarded, & pink's all-out isn't much better, IMO. if they were to do like an 11 sec cut, pink's all-out, it might be more interesting, but they would still probubly find a way to screw that up too. I'll stick with pass-time.

my favorite pinks episode was when they had the supercharged firebird vs the turbo civic... and the guy comes out and is talkin about how he is here to represent the imports... then asks for like 5 car lengths from the get go

it really wasnt fair that firebird was bad work and the civic guys didnt know what they were in for and they had no idea how fast that car really was.... or their car for that matter.

I love the show. Been watching since episode 1, but I do think that it went downhill for while there...

I'll be lookin out for you on the MIR show, Cobrabound... I have consistently missed Pinks at MIR!
