Is Ron ok? I know he had some health problems a couple months ago. Congrats to Justin on getting it, I tried killing mine for a while before I changed it for the Currie one with the 9". Never had any problems with it.

Doesn't spydershafts only pertain to s197 tech???

Well I guess it is kinda a "vendor" thing.

I want a lot of things, but........

Reason why I was asking was that in another.............ummmm.........somewhere, they were trying to get a group buy together for a pretty decent price (close to $500 if memory is right) and I think we are a couple short of a six pack, if you know what I mean. But I didn't want to throw it out there if I was going to violate any rules. I don't want to step on anyones toes.

Vendors pay to able to market to this forum and it's one thing when someone asks where you got something and you tell him, but it's another to just post up an ad for someone who doesn't have the right to.

My father taught me respect, and he was a very wise man.

Gonna send you a PM about using my rewards points for some camber bolts.

they are but, it never stops people from talking mad shit about them. I have run mine in 2 cars with zero failure, and zero vibration. But some still say it is a crap drive shaft. I will stand by mine, and the numbers. Everyone (the people with the poop mouths) else can do what they want.

I wonder how it compares to Coast Driveshafts because I found a Coast for 89 bucks cheaper than the Spydershaft.

I've had to have several balanced that I have installed. Seems the weight is off commonly too. Vibration comes on at 75mph and progresses through 100mph.

I had mine rebalanced because it was out very badly. I've talked about it before, I have received 4 shipments on behalf of spydershaft customers (they sent them to me to make things easy) and they came unweighted. On average run out was good, but the shafts were way out of balance both front and rear. All of the unweighted ones were, not some.

Anyway, Rons a goo guy, has good intentions, no shit talking from me, because once balanced, these things are tough as shit and basically indestructable. For more out of balanace issues, do a search on spydershaft balance on google or even within s197 and you'll see it was common.

Any idea what the sale price was on spydershaft to JPC 07?

No idea on the sale price. I beleive that Justin worked with Ron from conception on the spydershaft, so the relationship was there already.

I know that Ron had changed welders at least once and perhaps that became some of the issues with balance ETC. There is an entirely new welder doing the work now on these shafts. Im sure you know what they are and basically how they are made.
