There has never been a question on that.  maybe if i could have gotten a few more runs in. I have never seen that place so busy. 6 staging lanes were 30 cars deep all night. i can usually get 10 runs in on any night at cecil county. i guess the cold air has brought every one hit wonder and their brother out. It is the springs like you said redfire. the car just wont plant period even with all that weight off the front. The track was slick as fresh owl shit. Im sure those mods would have helped if i could have gotten some good traction but its still not going to pull the wheels up with those springs. Heck i cut those 60fts on street tires going from almost idle on the old setup. I kept dropping the rpms. In that video i launched with the lowest rpms and you see im still sideways. And the clutch, i dont know, it doesnt engage until its almost al the way out, and then no matter what i did with it they were spinning every time. I would go to MIR today to get some runs in the sun, but there is no test and tune there today. wed back at cecil early this time. |
