Say No To Delk
Delk Performance
They made a custom v6 motor...after a few miles it failed piston skirt wear was HORRIBLE! the $2k+ cylinder heads look like a 3rd grader ported them a few links:: Brand D is DELK http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...Comparison.pdf another casualty....its not only v6s.. im bashing the shit out of him on the other forum IMO the most pathetic numbers ive ever seen... 640rwhp with 30psi!!! wtF? please.... 24psi was 550rwhp? somoene made that with 15psi! smaller turbo and not nearly the head porting, nor custom intake setup like Matts...

idk its sad either way...
i pointed out that gary made 660rwhp with ONLY 17.4psi with only a mix of race gas.. and not even a final tune... randomly after he lost his highest hp V6 title he hit 667rwhp... ![]() either way its almost double the boost...

lol dang chris. please grow up and get all the facts to something.
again why in the world would i lie about things on my car. i mean come the heck on. i wanted Garys car to do the best it could. its not randomly that i dynoed like 2 weeks after him. everyone knows my car was torn down at the time. soo stop assuming things cause you know what that does. |

Maybe you'd be interested in a little race ![]() lets do you on 30psi which is what like 630REALwhp vs my splitport with MY OWN ported heads and about 15-16psi

i dont think your coulda hit 439rwhp at 12psi as it sat anyway so now let me ask how's that feel? your fully built 4.2 some nascar ported heads some crazy cam you probably have with probably .40 more lift then mine or more, custom intake lost to a 19yr olds SELF ported heads and stock ported intakes with a regrind cam.... man..so what will happen when i re-dyno on my built motor? ![]() also you never said WHY you let those shitty heads touch a $7+k motor..? or is that the norm for DELK?

Ive heard quite a few horror stories about that place. I wouldnt trust any place in TN to be honest with you. Ive lived here for about a year now and have never seen a bigger bunch of idiots in my life and ive lived quite a few places.

Never done any business with them luckly, but as far as being a bunch of idiots that goes for about 90% of the state or atleast the area im in anyways lol. Id probably save tons of money going to them for a tune vs hauling the car to AL or FL with my gas guzzler but theres no way in hell youd catch me doing that. Out of everything ive read/seen/heard about them I think ive only seen one good thing and it was on some local rice rocket forum.

and trust me i made good power on my stock valved self ported heads. but you would not know about that cause you still have your head stuck up your butt. also just a example. i know someone with a Built 347(not a delk customer) whats that gonna make lets say 450flywheel right? then had a 400 shot. car had a loose converter and a C4 it put down 380rwhp on the spray. but ran 6.15@117mph in the 1/8th. |

oh boy, 4.2 gone wrong - V6Power Messageboard
looks like someone forgot to check his PV,coil bind or something simple. man i bet he just slaped that engine together without knowing what he was doing. cleary a hurt spark plug didn't cause that damage.
