CAI: BBK no tune or JLT tune?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place for my question but I would really appreciate the help. I have a 2010 V6 Mustang with only an exhaust mod. Let me start off by saying that I plan on getting an SCT SF3 tuner from AM sometime whithin the next month or so and the next on the list would be a CAI. AM has 2 for the '10 V6, a BBK CAI, which doesn't require a tune, and a JLT CAI, which does require a tune. AM has a video stating that you'll see higher gains with a CAI that requires a tune because of its wider diameter. Is this true? I want to achieve the highest gains possible with a tuner/CAI combo and if the aforementioned is true, then I'll go with the JLT CAI. But if it isn't true and I'll actually see the same gains, then I'll go with the BBK CAI because the chrome finish is beautiful. Please help me guys.

The will give you about 2x the gains that the bbk one will
