Worth the extra bucks?

I'm looking for a good cat back for my 99' GT. I'm going supercharged, but mild and within the limits of the stock shortblock so 400 RWHP max.

I've really narrowed it down to 2 kits, either the Pypes violator's or the Borla Stinger kit.
The Pypes is 409 SS, and chambered mufflers, and $420. The Borla's are 304 SS and straight through mufflers, but it's $590.

Now the quality of the SS isn't really a huge factor for me, I don't plan on keeping the car for more than ~5 years so I'm sure 409 SS will be just fine. I really just want people's opinion on the sound quality and loudness. I HATE resonance, I have flowmasters on my car now thanks to the previous owner and just loathe them more and more everyday.

I will have BBK full tubes and off road X. I know it'll be pretty loud, I'm OK with loud I just hate resonance.

Or if anyone has any other suggestions I'm still open. I can tell you right now though, I don't like the sound of magnapacks which seems to be a favorite of a lot of people. And of course, no flowmasters at all!!!
