I need your input!
Well I love my car, it's my baby, my 2002, Laser Red, Mustang v6. However, I want something with a little more gusto, in the words of Tim Allen (Home Improvement) "More POWER! ruh! ruh! ruh!" I have to finish out my final year of highschool with the car I have because well, as a teen paying all my own cell phone/ car/ clothing/ recreational expenses, thing are tight working for minimum wage. My mother works at RIT (second best tech school in the nation, next to MIT) so I get free tuition, since I may be commuting I will have free living to, so I get a college education for virtually nothing. With being a college student I will get ore hours, and a pretty hefty raise at work, without any increased expenses (books can be paid with graduation money). With that in mind I want to look for my car with "More POWER!" I've had the 5.0 Fox bodies recomended but I find the Foxes very unattractive, to say the least. I did some research and found that the 5.0 is also in the 1994-5's which I like, I'm thinking that I may try to find one of those. And of course, with buying the new (older) car, my current would be sold. Suggestions? Comments? Both on the car, or my choice of buying one.. etc.

Something else to ponder. I do not know how to drive stick, and am DYING to learn but of the 4 cars my family owns, not one is stick. Do I buy a stick shift to force myself to learn? Or stick with the automatic? Alot will also depend on what I can find for sale.

I'd say buy a new edge GT, i owned a 1996 GT which is the 4.6 and i love my new edge GT much better its alot nicer, and i'd also say buy a manual trans. Way more fun than an auto imo, so yeah i'd teach myself or have someone teach me but absolutely get a manual...hope this helps

i'd stay away from anything other than a: new edge(1999-2004) GT, Cobra, mach 1, a 1996-1998 Cobra. So basically if it was my choice i'd never go 1995 and lower anything...besides a 1995 Cobra R of course lol...

ah my man!
First, wats your budget for a new car? Second, do want to spend more money on the car and less on the mods OR vice versa? (this was one of the questions i was faced with when buying mine) and with the stick shift... before i bought my stang, which was my first car, i had no idea how to drive stick! But my friends said it was alot more fun. THEY WERE RIGHT! So i learned. Buy a 5 speed find u a empty subdivision and just practice (i watch vids on youtube to learn) but youll prob need a new clutch after you learn haha. OH and with u driving a v6 now you r going to LOVE the power a v8! if thats wat u decide to get
