Also... if the vehicle is not wet, then there is really no point in posting the picture in this already majorly congested thread. This is not directed at only you Optional.

Please limit your posting at this point to pictures of cars that meet the criteria, or to nominate a car that has already been posted. Keep the conversating to a min. This thread needs to get back on track.

Attention All Members! We have some new guidelines for the ROTM section.You are expected to read them, and to abide by them. 1. Any rude or negative comments about any of the contestants cars will be treated like flaming, and disciplinary actions will follow. 2. If you are not nominated, then please don't post pictures up of your car. It's already confusing enough as it is. 3. Please don't complain to the moderators or on the ROTM Forum if you aren't happy with the results or the theme of that month's ROTM. 4. If you don't win then please don't complain to the moderators, or start a thread. It's a simple contest, not worth getting all upset over. 5. No post-whoring! If you want to comment the contestant’s cars then, ok that is fine. Having a 15 post conversation about whatever isn't though. Please vote, speak your peace, and save the conversation for a PM or something. 6. Do not post pictures of contestant’s cars if they did not take the time to submit their own pictures for the vote. If something came up and they do not have time to submit a picture in the allowed time they can contact Dennis about it and he will make an exception for the right reason and insert a picture after the vote started. 7. Members are allowed to make one nomination only! 8. You are allowed one win per calendar year. This means if you win in june you can not win again until next june

Let me just chime in here while this thread is closed, so that this post stays visible for a bit, to point out a few things to you guys.

We're just a bunch of douchebags doing this shit for free, to try and generate interest, and fun, in the hobby and forum wew all enjoy, understand?

If you guys think this is a popularity contest, then don't enter the contest. Do you seriously think we sit around in the mod room, and pick only contests that will work for popular members? Or that those members who vote are voting for whoever is popular? I don't even know how to wrap my head around that. Talk about readin something into nothing.

Understand this- if there IS anyone who is popular and wins or is nominated all the time because they're 'popular', so what? Maybe it's because they ARE popular, and get around the forum more, and are more involved. Hint.

Similarly, if you ARE going to enter these things, how about paying close attention to that month's requirements, and then when you've understood it, not nitpicking us over silly shit. Have any questions about it? How about pming Smooth or Razn with your question instead if carrying on in here as if there is some ROTM conspiracy.

In any event, if you take ROTM as anything more than good fun... wow.... this is the type of talk and behavior that kills off these fun things.

Let's not make mountains out of .... absolutely nothing, shall we.
