Good. Now maybe rotm will stop being filled with bullshit. The one thing I thought was kind of ridiculous was the one win a year thing. Back to back months, thats understandable but why only limit 1 win a year per car? I'm guessing this doesn't apply to ROTY noms and voting?

The one win a year rule gives more people the opportunity to win rotm. It would get old pretty quick seeing the same car win multiple times in one year.

I get that and im all for giving everyone the oppurtunity but I think one is too little. Like say you get nominated one month and win and then get nominated a few months later, whats the point in even being nominated when you cant win since you won rotm a few months prior? Thats why the one win a year rule really doesnt make sense.

One win per year is plenty, and fair. Because this is supposed to be a fun little contest that we're not taking all that seriously. It's main purpose is to generate and maintain interest and activity in Modded Mustangs. And while we acknowledge that ROTM is not going to be the savior or end-all & be-all to this forum's success, ROTM is just that:

A friendly competition that people are supposed to have fun with. Not pick apart. Do you know the only reason we have more than a handful of rules in the first place? Because people pick apart every detail instead of taking the contest for what it is, and force us to come up with more and more rules.

The rules are clear. If you've won once that year, you can't be nominated again until the ROTY contest. That's what only being able to win once a year means.


None of this is meant to insult you 2V, I'm just being honest with you. Enjoy the contest and have fun with it. We're not talking about winning a new car here or hitting the lottery. It's a silly forum contest devised for us to all have fun with.

Cool.

This is what those rules state: You can win ROTM once per year, beginning each January. You can, up until winning ROTM, be nominated more than once per year. You just cannot be nominated in back to back months. Not that you can only be nominated once per year.

As for giving nominations, you can only nominate one member per ROTM.

You can make one nomination. The person you nominate will still need a 2nd nomination. Although in themed months or special contests these rules are subject to change based on a picture requirement.
