FS: SCT Xcal2

Like it says, I have a barely used Xcal2 for sale, and like any SCT, it is vinlocked after the first use.
Selling it for a friend, and after a week, its going on ebay.
Asking price is $155, and send it back to SCT, and they can do it for a fair price, I was told $100...and they will put canned tunes back on it I think.

Im getting a whole new setup from B*m*chips, and will be going with the livewire instead of using his tuner.

Again, only asking $155 (150 tuner + 5 shipping). PM me if interested

any pics?
vin locked means it is specific for the car that it was used on...you have to send it back to an sct dealer/tuner , I think, to get unlocked and they can put a tune it for nitrous. I'm still learning so I may be wrong

you need to sent it to SCT to get it unlocked.
that runs around $100.00

the $100 to get it unlocked plus what he is asking for it is a very good deal.

he didn't state that and he has an 05 and stated that he was upgrading instead of using this tuner...and they make it for 96-04 and 05-07..thats why I asked.

Modern_Muscle I hope you dont get mad, but I'm doing this to help you out and others. I just bought a XCAL 2 off of ebay last week for 130 with shipping. It was vinlocked! SCT charges $150 to unlock and send it back to you. Then you will need to go someone to get custom tunes done. Anywhere from $75 for one up to $185 for 3 from Doug at Bamachips.

HOWEVER there is hope! If Modern_Muscle will set the XCAL 2 back to the stock tune before he sells it, then guess what? Then whoever buys can still use without being sent back to SCT! But it has to be set back to stock first! As well Modern_Muscle after the word aftermarket on the screen what is the number shown? This is the amount of cars it can be transfered to. If its 5 then 5 more owneers, 4 then 4 more and so on. Trust me I did my research on this cause I didnt want to get stuck with a useless tuner! Good luck Modern_Muscle and everyone else!
