WARNING: Read First Before Purchasing For Sale Items

If you haven't read this then don't come to us wanting us to do things if you get screwed. Here is the deal, there is alot of people there are out to screw people and there is only one way to purchase items from somebody without getting screwed. That is to use paypal. If you don't have an account then get one and if they seller doesn't have an account and you don't know them personally then don't purchase the items cause if you don't get your items there isn't much you can do about it but bitch and moan. SO LISTEN UP ALL YOU YOUNGER GUYS, USE PAYPAL, USE YOUR PARENTS PAYPAL WITH THERE PERMISSION, AND IF YOUR SELLER DOESN'T HAVE PAYPAL THEN I GUESS THAT PERSON DOESN'T WANT THERE ITEMS SOLD.

Hell, if I bought a higher-priced item from someone on here, then I would have them throw it on Ebay and reimburse them for the small fee of posting it. That way you are covered through PayPal and Ebay.

Hey Mods & Admin,
Is there a way we could divide the classifieds between years?
such as for the classic, fox, sn-95, new edge, and s197's?
I believe that would be SO much easier to search for parts for sale/trade/wanted.
that way, you arent always clicking on something that doesnt fit yours, and theres not as much stuff that wont fit your application in the way of finding the parts you need.

Thanks!

+100

That would be hot. A bit more involved on the mods part and more work, but if found feasible, it would help alot.

Also + 1 on the USPS Money Order...dont f'k with Uncle Sam! Far more secure than a Wester Union Money Order! An paypal flat our owns all!

it wouldnt be very much work on their part, only for what is here now.
just in the future, everyone would post in their specific sections.

just a wee bit of warning about paypal (as great as it truly is)

I got ripped for $20 and I reported the user. After 2 months of deliberation on pp's part, they decided I won the case but could not reimburse me due to the fact that the user had emptied his account.

Just food for thought.. I agree with gill, use ebay if at all possible.

Suggestion....does this forum have a trader rating set up yet? Another suggestion to newbies is always ask for a picture before shipment to make sure it matches up with what you receive. We are always hearing how people get something other than described by the seller looking to unload whatever they are selling!

my $.01 thoughts

i think it would be wise to advise both the seller and buyers in this forum that MM is not at all responsible for any transaction between the two parties. MM is acting as a 'middle man' to post items for sale.

sure us older folk understand, but it should be known to all.

just my thoughts
