it's totally possible to wire it to a switch so that you can raise or lower it yourself manually though. just check under your fender where your stock antenna is to make sure there's a decent amount of room there to install it. I don't know how different years differ but on my 94, i'm pretty damn sure there would've been practically no space at all...but now i'd rather just have a regular antenna so i never even really tried. you can always find another place to install it wherever you want, but then you'd have to drill a new hole, cover up the old one...etc. |
