1990 Mustang LX notchback 25.5 rolling chassis

1990 Mustang LX rolling chassis – fresh SFI 25.5 chassis by Furo Racecraft (www.furoracing.com). Quite possibly one of the best designed 25.5 chromoly cages around. Full factory interior including power windows and locks minus the back seat and the front seats are race seats. Removable parachute mount and parachute. 28x10.5W slicks. Car ran 9.30s at 143mph with a naturally aspirated small block and C4. Car is streetable. All steel with the exception of the Glasstek fiberglass cowl induction hood. All weight reduction (doors, bumper supports, etc.) is done on the car. Car weighs 2544 pounds with a 9.5 deck small block and C4 transmission and no driver. Perfect car for NMRA and FFW Renegade, Hot Street, SSO or any other 10.5 tire class. This car is ready to go, just drop your engine and go.

- rear suspension – Stock type suspension with coil overs, welded and braced 8.8 with Mark Williams 35 spline axles, 9” housing ends, spool, yoke, two gear sets (4.10 and 4.56), aluminum differential cover and new Aerospace brakes. Team Z Motorsports upper and lower control arms and anti roll device. Car is mini tubbed with stretched stock wheel wells and has coil overs. Factory trunk carpet and trim is in place as well. This car hooks hard and goes as straight as an arrow.

- front suspension – AJE K-member, drop spindles, control arms, caster/camber plates and coil overs. New aerospace brakes in the front and rear.

- Transmission - Like new PA Super Comp C4 with transbrake and PA Pro Fit SFI bellhousing. Only 4 passes on trans and it is only 1 month old. Also comes with a like new Coan 8" Maximum Performance torque converter that stalls around 5800 behind a 700hp 425 inch small block on the transbrake. The converter is less than a month old and only has 4 passes on it. New price on the trans, bellhousing and converter was $3600

- Misc. – Optima battery, remote charging posts, Autometer gauges, MSD Digital 7 programmable ignition, MagnaFuel Pro Star 500 fuel pump, 12 gallon fuel cell with roll over vent, braided line everywhere (-12 from cell to pump, -10 from pump to regulator, -8 from regulator to carb, -6 trans lines, -16 upper radiator hose, etc.), 3 ½” X-pipe exhaust with 3 ½” Flowmaster mufflers, Weld Draglite wheels, Mickey Thompson 28x10.5W slicks, Mickey Thompson 26x4.5 ET front runners, ARC overhead switch console, quick release steering wheel, Aerospace master cylinder, line lock, travel limiters, video camera mount, Griffin aluminum radiator, Black Magic electric fan, trans cooler, Hurst Quarter Stick and much more. The car is wired for nitrous from the ARC overhead panel to the electrical panel that is in place of the factory glove compartment. The glove compartment door opens up for access to the electrical panel. The car comes with a 16 foot open trailer with trailer brakes.

Contact me with any questions or for more details. Serious inquiries only! I’m selling to build a new house. I don’t need to sell it, I would like to sell it….so no low ball bullshit offers please.

$17,000 for car and trailer

$14,000 for car without the trans, converter and trailer
