B&M 3000 RPM Holeshot Stall Converter AODE 4R70W

I have a used B&M 3000 rpm stall Holeshot lockup type converter. It will fit a 93-04 mustang with an AODE or 4R70W transmission. This will not fit AOD.

The unit has about 7k miles on it. I bought it new for over $400 and installed it on my 98 v6 mustang. Recently, I swapped to a Tremec T-56 6-speed, so I don't need it anymore.

It is in great condition! Here is a link to the manufacturer's website:

I am asking $275 shipped.

Well, kind of... It does control the stall, but it will never exceed the maximum stall of your converter. It only controls the percentage of stall used.

That's why if you install a high stall converter and accelerate slowly, the car doesn't operate any different than it did before. But, when you enter WOT, the computer uses 100% of the stall, which is when you notice the difference.

That way, you maintain drivability when you aren't racing.

This talks a little about the AOD-E/4R70W http://www.becontrols.com/tech/ch2aodefund.htm
