Well, I have waited a while now to say anything about all this. But I could care less now.

About 3 months ago I got my car back from having the Motor COMPLETELY built by RJ Performance.
My Build: 2003 Mustang Mach 1
Livernoise 5.0 Stroker Kit
-Forged Crank, Rods, and Pistons.
ARP Studs, heads, main caps and so on.
Comp Stage 2 Blower Cams
Livernoise Valve Springs
Tube K-member
Spec Clutch with Cobra Aluminum Flywheel.
Long Tubes

Anyway the List goes on. All in all I spent just over 10.5k on this build.

Here's where it gets ugly.
Just over 700 miles after I get my car back, The motor starts knocking like CRAZY. This is after I have done EVERYTHING Jason told me to do to break in the motor correctly. I havent even gotten on it, havent even gotten a chance to play AT ALL, AFTER 10k. WTF.

So I pulled over right when I heard the motor start knocking. I was cruising down the Highway about 75mph coming home from a work cookout. I called Jason sitting on the side of the road and explained the situation. He didnt seem to worried about my situation and told me to bring the car by if I wanted him to do anything to it. I went ahead and towed the car home. After going back and forth with him and him giving me the run around about the car, I asked him if there was any type of warrenty on the motor, being that I only had it a month and the motor only had 700 miles on it. Jason proceeded to tell me the motor had no warranty and anything that he did would Cost. I asked several times for him to at least come by and listen to the motor, being that he only live's 4 miles from my house, but he always had some excuse for not being able to come take a listen. He told me if I took a day off work, he might be able to work it out. Seems like BS for a guy who runs his own business and can pretty much set his own hours. So, now im sitting on a glorified Yard Ornament and the builded could give a shit less. Even after all the money I spent. And I sent him some of my friends, which he fucked them too.

I know im going on a rant, but I just wanted to share my Shaddy Experience with Jason Fields at RJ Performance. 10K down the drain is a hard pill to swallow. But If you need some work done and have money to blow and dont care if the guy stands behind his work or not, Then Jason is your guy.

Just my .02 cents. Im done.

i'm pretty confident in saying that every shop has to warranty there work unless parts were not purchesd from them....

if thats the case and it's due to a faulty part, i'm afraid ur SOL man

Im sorry man, that really sucks. Thats fucked up on his part, he knows he fucked up too. Atleast when my dyno tune wasnt right, my tuner emailed me asking if it was fixed. This guy is just avoiding you, and thats not right. I would go to his shop and get in his face.

$10,000 isnt cheap.

All my parts are some of the best out there. He is the one who choose these parts because Livernoise has a great Rep, and all the research I did showed the same thing. As soon as I find out what the problem is, I will go from there. I just dont have the extra cash to tear down the motor right now.

i second that motion, also its too high dollar to settle in small claims court but id take it all the way, he never said there was a warranty, but he never said the WASNT a warranty, until after the fact.
