Beware of Tulip City Wheels in Holland, MI

I don't know if this is the right place for this but I just wanted to share this with you guys here:

I placed an order with these clowns for one chrome Cobra R replica wheel and they sent me one that was the right size and style but it was satin silver, not chrome. I've been trying both on the phone and through their site and my email but I've yet to speak to anyone. Even worse is when I googled their name, the first listing pops up with 3 claims on RipoffReports.com with all 3 stories sounding just like mine....great.

It seems I am going to have to place a claim with my credit card company since they aren't willing to correct the mistake themselves. That's okay though, because now it means I have a free wheel (albeit the wrong finish, but free is free!).

Again, avoid these assholes like the plague.

You could always use the spare wheel ( that is the wrong finish ) as a stylish garden hose reel in the backyard. I have an old weld wheel from one of my older cars as mine in the backyard.

As for the issue, sorry to hear that. It always sucks when you think you think you get a good deal and it ends up being a rip off...

I initially moved it to the BB. I hate these kinds of issues, as there is just not enough info for those reading to make an educated decision. I have seen SOO many of these issues be due to misunderstanding of of the product that was being purchased (as is, no returns and such) Have no idea if this happened here, but can site several examples of issues brought up by pepes that were PROVEN to be 100% wrong, but NEVER go back and accept responsibilty nor own up to it in the end.

This may not be the case here, but just cannot prove it either way.
