Alittle more info, and this is moved to a more appropriate section. I'm changing the post title as well to something more suitable.

It’s very obvious that this person is very angry with this vendor, and I don’t really know the facts but having had a problem or two with Internet vendors and business in general this is what I do know. I don’t get angry any more I set out to get my money back and than let the government take care of those who would be less than honest in the business practices. And you know some folks are just plain inept and can’t do what they promise. Those folks need to find another line of work also. Yes I try and warn other folks but don’t put yourself on their level always take the high ground and be very specific about your grievances But to the point, in Florida we have a friend in the state government, who vigorously looks out for the consumer. Contact them via the net at http://www.800helpfla.com/. Most other states have program similar to this through the state attorney’s office I hope this will help you get the matter resolved. And yea nothing makes me madder than to be considered a the fool in the adage “a fool and his money are soon separated” I like to say the Cross Bar has a room and will leave the light on for you!

I'm willing to bet that if you're dumping $400 into the car that it is an expendable income. Thus not really "taking food out your mouth" or "ripping the shirt off your back." I wouldn't quite try that dramatic approach.

Though technicalities aside I think many people have been down the road you're on. If it's an online vendor at least. Which is why I always prefer to support local shops if I can. Any trouble and I can confront them and get it fixed. Many times it is harder, or impossible, when the problem came from an online order.

Not much detail has been given but I do hope that you get the situation resolved.

But what exactly was the situation? Did they claim to do work and not do it? Sell you on a name brand product but stiff you with a knockoff thinking you wouldn't notice? What happened?

Pure Mustang Performance reply is due!!

I would just like to say a cpl things. First, Pure Mustang Performance doesnt even sell products that are under $1,000.00. They are a manufactureing company. The products that show on the website are usually forwarded to another vendor.

Second, why wont anyone say what was purchased. I have done research and it shows that there hasn't been anyone screwed out of $400.00. They even ship out replacement parts and warrantys with all their products. If the person who placed the complaint wishes to give his information, I am sure it can be 100% resolved!!

Lets face it, from a Mustang driver; parts and items just sometimes take a while. We have all ordered from small to large companies and feel like some things just takes forever. Just always keep in mind that from a retail/online stores point of view, they are waiting on probably several other people in a line to get some certain products out. As a manufactures point of view, If you think its hard to order a part and wait for the part to arrive....try to get over a dozen companies to all make their deadline to produce a product in a timely matter. This should never be an excuse used on us as a customer, however it happens.

I just want to let everyone know, its not Pure Mustang Performances intention to screw anyone. They show a clean record for over 4 years.

I know if this person feels screwed out of $400.00 its something that could be fixed with trade or replacement..whatever the problem is. However my guess is this person wasnt willing to be helped.

PMP is bad buisness. I bought their roadster kit. I puchased it in january and they did not hesitate the charge my credit card, but I did not recieve all the parts to install the kit until more than 6 months later and many phone calls to them. Even after that, they advertise through mrbodykit.com that you get badges to put on and a certificate...nope. I have told both companies about this but they stil advertise all these things that are not true.This kit is advertised as a bolt on 100% factory fit, it is not! Even after we elongated all the holes on the car and the kit, it still did not fit right, or even close. wait, the side skirts went on without a problem but that is it. Price tag for kit...$3500 after shipping and I live in the same state as the company by the way. Price to instal kit and paint because it is not 100% factory fit as advertised...$1900. Total? Three months pay. Not to mention some of the parts that I ordered are very poor quality. Their customer service? full of excuses! By the way-the whole time I have been typing this I have been on hold with them and I type very slow. and by the way PMP does sell stuff for under $1000. I will post up some pictures of all of this for all to see soon

I totally agree with him please stay away from them i am $7000 +....
i will include one of a few letters i have writen to them in regards to the situation at hand....

To Whom it may concern of the PMP staff;

This is my last attempt in correcting the situation at hand. Six months ago (August) I (Javan ********) ordered PMP's new turbo kit up until now I have only receive one box with the hot side piping missing the v-band clamps and the throttle body to inside the fender piping (cold side.) I have records and recordings of calls and excuse given to me every week for why the shipment didn't go out that week etc. I have never experience this level of customer service before the (worst ever in my opinion) I had to even call a vendor who you guys said I need to speak to in order to get my turbo and intercooler, now from my understanding I wasn't doing business with him, I bought the kit from you guys not him so why did I have to go to the extent of calling vendors which you guys should've been handling on your side of things.... Regardless of that I have been given the run around for six months now! Up to now I have yet to receive the v-band clamps, missing cold side piping, maf meter, injectors, fuel pump, external wastegate, gaskets, miscellaneous bolts, sct chip, air filter, boost actuated exhaust dump which I was charged to get welded on to the hot side before shipment and was not done. At this point in time my car has been in the shop since the first box arrived (November) getting the install done because you guys said the other boxes were on their way. I have been getting charged $95/week to have the car there awaiting the remaining parts. I am tired of waiting I will give this issue until Friday 1/5/07 to get resolve, which means I am tired of talking and I just want some action to be done. In failure to meet this deadline this issue will be passed over to my lawyer and the situation will also be posted on numerous mustang forums. I will expose this warning to future customers in regards to your business practices. please take this letter seriously because it will be my last attempt in dealing with this situation without the involvement of authorities and outside involvement. .

Thank You For Your Time
Javan
