Ok Ok, so I live in Chicago and used most everyshop available ...

Bob Kurgan (Kurgan Motorsports) , This guy knows his shit when your car needs tuned....

How ever, so does

Mike Post (Dyno Tune MP) They both are two killer guys, who own shops and are amazing with 5.0 tuning ..

Deans Peformance - OK stand up shop.. My buddys, buddy just had a 03 Cobra done, Twin turbo, God it's an 8 second sickning car.

Sutton HP is good, but fairly far from me ...

Speed Inc, is super slow , and this is another shop who doesn't fuck around...

Hope this helps.

Mike Post @ Welcome to DynotuneMP or Bob Kurgan at Kurgan Motor Sports High Performance Mustang Tuning are two of the best in the country. Bob will make alot of horsepower for you and you better be ready to pay for it. Mike Post will make you horsepower and also explain to you how he is doing it so if you have a device such as a PMS you will be able to modify some parameters yourself instead of always taking the car back to be tuned when you change something. Mike is also a people person. He likes to talk and is always willing to help. Bob isn't exactly a people person and he knows he is good so he acts and charges accordingly.

Darrell..

thanks for the props.. im very surprised that you stated im expensive since i have never done any work for you. I also spend alot of time going over things with customers. WHen im tuning with SCT, i show them all the tables i am changing and WHY im changing them. Most tunes for cars are only $200-$225 plus dyno time and/or chip/flasher.. This is CONSIDERABLY cheaper then 95% of the shops in the area.. I did tune WELL over 200 cars this summer, so you are correct in that i know the software (sct and diablo) very well LOL.

I think you've done some work for me that you are not aware of... I have alot of good friends that you have done work for as well.....friends that I personally gave your contact information too. So yes, I have experience with you even if it is indirectly. And even though I think you're an arrogant prick sometimes I also am not blind to the fact that you are one of the best in the country which is why you will see me throw your name around quite often.

again, i appreciate your recommendations to me!!

What are you basing my cost against? Who am i expensive compared to? I have compared myself to other competent tuners in the area and I am $100+ cheaper. I know that i tune for some shops and they charge $100-$200 more then i do AND IM DOING THE TUNING LOL!
