I disagree, this is exactly the kind of place to get that sort of satisfaction. Also, if you don't think about it as "talking trash" it'll seem more legitimate.

The tuning industry is pretty small, word gets around quick, and problematic customers get "marked". Personally I'm not a fan of the BAP and would rather upgrade the fuel system.

That's pretty tame. Sounds like KB is pounding nails through the end of his baseball bat in case he get's JMS'd.

But give the critic credit for trying to keep everything positive.

The only thing I did wrong was trust jms
How else is it my fault? when I give JMS well over 10 grand and they gave me a blown motor with a tubro that leaks oil?
It is the tuners fault only and no body else.
JMS sucks bottom line.
If you don't believe that send them your money.
I'd burn mine first.
Thats 10 grand with out the money I sent mmr for my motor.

DON’T GET RIPPED OFF! Unlike some ‘OTHER’ companies, JMS supplies our customers with 3 Dyno Proven Custom Tunes, specifically calibrated for YOUR
vehicle! You DON’T pay EXTRA for the tune files and if your not happy with our tune, we will work with you to MAKE it right!

I got ripped off and they did not make it right

LOL, come on KB. Didn't they destroy his mill and $10,000 in mods attached to it?

I'd ask for at least two dyno tunes.

This will be the only post I make on this matter, just to clarify our side of the story.

We installed a Hellion turbo kit on Tim's car. The turbo did leak, but it was around the fitting from the factory when it was installed from Turbonetics. We attempted to fix it twice but was not able to get it repaired.

Tim popped his stock motor on the day he picked it up, but it was not due to tuning issues, it broke a rod. No tuner on this earth can tune around a weak rod. We had the car neutered to try and prevent this, and it still did it. Because we felt bad about Tim's luck, we gave him a discounted labor rate (to basically cost) to install his new motor.

When Tim purchased his motor from MMR, he misrepresented himself as an employee of our company to try and get a discount on the motor. We found out when we got a pissed off phone call from MMR wanting to know why this guy was such a dick and why we employed him. Once we clarified he did not work for us, they understood.

I encourage ANYONE on this board to call up MMR and speak to Chris for his opinion on Tim XXXXX. He'll tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Tim's car did burn a few spark plugs with the new MMR motor. With 8 degrees of timing and 11.5:1 a/f ratio. These cars have to be dialed back so far because of the shit spark plugs. Come to find out that after we installed the motor and gave it to him (before the dyno tune, as MMR wanted him to put 500 miles on the motor before going WOT), he admitted to us at the dyno tune that he had taken the car out that weekend and beat the piss out of it, with no tune in the car other than a drive around tune ONLY.

We discovered the damage on the motor and removed it (at the discounted labor rate at our cost, again) and sent it to MMR. MMR agreed that it was not a tuning issue, but still covered the warranty on the engine because they thought that would be best route to take, due to the customer being irate and irritable.

It was at this time that Tim ordered the Level 10 transmission. He again misrepresented himself as an employee of this company in order to get a discount. We found out about it, again, from Level 10 owner, who knows Chris personally.

Same deal as before, car was tuned, dialed back heavily, and released to Tim. Damage occured to the motor, and at this point we and Tim agreed to part ways.

We have always, ALWAYS stood behind our work. If an engine lets go due to improper tuning or assembly, we have always fixed it at no charge. We actually had a bolt fall into a intake port that went unnoticed due to a head swap (it was a broken bolt head), and it was sucked into a brand new 5.4 JLP motor. We sent the motor to Al Pappito in South Florida (after giving the customer the option of us buying him a brand new motor from JLP, or sending it to Boss 330), and had Al go through the whole motor. He actually found many flaws in the motor that had occured from JLP, but it wasn't determined if it was accidental or intentional. We payed for the entire motor to be gone through (not just the stuff we did, but also the stuff that was flawed from JLP's build, such as a block with a cracked cylinder liner), and installed the engine for free. Cost to us was approximately 10k, counting parts, shipping, and lost income from labor. The customer is still happy with it, and his truck is still going strong at 750rwhp.

And as a final warning to Tim, who has ignorantly threatened violence against a business on the internet, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Especially with your legal issues.
