Daytona Beach, FL bound
Hey guys, I have about two weeks left here in Afghanistan. Internet usage is kinda short and to the point, so here goes nothing.
Upon returning to Mountain Home, ID, I should have about a month and a half left in the Air Force. I should be separated and bed-down in Florida by the end of February, depending on travel arrangements. I'm going guard up in Jacksonville, and will be living in Daytona Beach to attend Embry-Riddle. I need a show of hands of peeps who I can count on hanging out with. The wife likes to make friends, so whatever we do, be sure to bring your better half. A case of beer is welcome, too. Anyways, I'll give more details as time goes on and I figure out where the hell I'm gonna be living, what job I'll have, etc. Feel free to PM me or post. Just let me feel at home when I arrive. Also, I want to feel sea-level power, so be sure to have some days open for the drag strip. Thanks guys. Ya'll are the best. This is my favorite, and now my only forum for Mustangs. Glad to hear you're coming back. Just be safe these last 2 weeks.
I don't live anywhere close to Daytona, but I happen to travel to Orlando every so often to see family, and have been to Jacksonville a couple times this year as well. I'll let you know when I make it out that way if you and whoever else want to get together. I'm not tied down though, so I wouldn't be bringing anyone with me.

Welcome to FL soon...I travel to Daytona on business but live about 2 hours away. Might be getting a meet together next year in Daytona...just depends on how many people will go.

Nope...no mustang club. There is one in Tampa but I havent joined it...I just go to local car shows.
I am talking with some people on other forums, some live in Jacksonville and others in Tampa/Orlando about getting a meet together in Daytona. |
