I figured we need a thread to give a heads up about local performance shops that are reputable and the ones that aren't up to par. It'd help out a lot of guys so they don't have to find out for themselves. Please feel free to share stories of praise and complaints.

Ive known 3 different people to pay lots of money to lamotta, been told you will recieve xyz, only to have used parts, worn out parts and work that wasnt finished but claimed to be done passed back to them.

Rockers not tightened, v/c loose, both headers were missing 2-3 bolts, gears whinned like a banshee,

jake is a pretty good guy has a great reputation havent really heard anything bad about him

We have 3 sn95 302 cars that need a tune, and was told, 5.0 cars arent worth his time or efforts.
