the new one is all in one big building thats next to the gigantic gym and across from the medical building. and it's got an interactive Marlinspike type thing with lights and wind and strobes to simulate lightning and waves and all that good shit. i don't know what all is in it, but i've heard it's pretty cool. universal studios designed it.

i remember going to like 7 different places spread out all over the place and running from each one to the next. and the high that night was 19. nothing but utilities and the utility jacket. we at leadt got to wear our watch caps, no gloves though. it was fun, but boy was i beat afterward. remember mass casualties? that fucking dust stayed on your boots for a week!

Ha ha ha! He said "old fashioned way" When I was a tadpole they didn't even have battle stations in boot camp. We had DC Olympics. Course that was in the early nineties

awww... the good old battle stations, yeah I remember it it was hard staying up all day then deciding on whether or not to take a power nap before battlestations. then putting on full gear, switching off a full seabag, and trying to keep the last guy from walking and falling behind. I remember mass casualties, and trying to stay awake when they laid you down and told you that you were "dead" in the shooting simulation. The hardest part was the running around the whole base but that morning breakfast was the best along with when you got your NAVY ballcap
