Need patch/paint work in Hampton Roads!

I've got the 'stang in at Beach Ford to have the front end repainted and the windshield replaced. I asked them about a crack I have on my rear Saleen spoiler, how much it would cost to repair the hairline crack and repaint. They quoted me $400.

Anyone else know of where I can get a better price? That seems really high just to repair a small hairline crack and repaint.

Attached one picture, more closeups to come.

I have Mike "lineumup88" do all of my paint work. I told him about your issue and he should be chiming in shortly.

Can personally attest to this mans skills. Have seen many things he's fixed including a motocycle and a front cobra bumper and both of them were seemless and you would never know they had been fixed.

Cool man. So how do you do the work? Do you work in a shop or do the work at home? How do you do the paint? I might have more work for you as well if the spoiler fix works out well.

Also, I posted in the other thread about the hood. I actually had someone offer to buy it from me because they really wanted it, but maybe we can work something out with the spoiler job. It really could be fixed quite easily I think, but insurance company doesn't want to deal with it.

He used to work at a shop. He does all the prep work and has an excellent painter. My hood hasn't even been wet sanded yet and it looks better than the original paint. That says a lot with a fiberglass hood.

Still waiting on lineumup88 to get back to me, he hasn't been on the site in a couple days. If anyone knows him tell him to check his messages.

Here's some closeups of the work needed to be done. I've had some offers on my old hood, but I'll give it to anyone for free in exchange for the patch paint work on my spoiler.

I might need his services too on that spot I showed you by the door and my passenger side skirt. Your hood does look great.

I'm in no rush, considering I'll just take the spoiler off the car and give it to him. It will be interesting to drive around for a little while without a spoiler.

Still waiting on him to get back... offer is still on the table for anyone else that can do it.
