Freedom Wash, S Independence

Every Friday and Saturday depending on the weather lots of people will bring their cars down and hang out. Lots of nice cars and some really great peole.
Again its at the Freedom Wash on S. Independence in Va Beach Fridays and Saturdays usually around 8 or so people will start showing up.

I beg to differ. If you want to go to a nice place for an informal car show, Jenro's in Haygood shopping center is the place. Cars show up every Saturday when the weather is nice. Sometimes the classic cars will come out of the woodwork for Jenro's, and there always guaranteed Mustangs there.

Freedom wash is always at night, and it attracts the annoying ricer crowd. If you're down with that type of people, to each his own, but every time I've driven through there on a Saturday night, it's always a bunch of young-looking punks with crappy cars.

I stopped by there one night and washed my car and had some big redneck dude threaten to throw a wrench through my back window because my car was too loud and his "baby was sleeping in his car".

- IT WAS 10 PM AT NIGHT.

So again, not the greatest place to go. Stick to Jenro's!!

Sorry you had a bad expirence there Brendan. I had nothing but a good experience when i went there. Made some really cool friends.

+1 i go there almost every saturday night...even when its 25 degrees out lol. havent been lately since my car is down right now what kinda stang do you have soc@l and how often do you go

I have a lazer red new edge GT. I am out there almost every friday and saturday. And i usually hang out with brandon with the red foxbody, scott with the silver evo, ernie with the white z28 and a few other people so look for the cars and you'll find me
