Hampton Roads Tinting day

Hey my fellow Hampton Roads Virginia people,

A few of us are guaging interest on how many people would like to get their cars tinted. Whether they be the stang or anything else that you might have that you want it on. Chris J and I are collaborating with another mustang site that is HR based and we are trying to get as many people signed up so that we can get the best deal out there.

So far we have 8 people that are down for getting it done...I think if we get a total of 10 people that this could have a high chance of working and getting everyone a deal...If we come to a tint shop saying we have 10 cars that we can gurantee them that they will get the business for maybe they can cut us a flat rate...

cool. so far we have 10 cars that want to get tinted. I am going to be getting in touch with a couple of tinting places in the next couple of days, so I will let everyone know within the week or so.

See if you know of anyone else that might be interested, the more we get, the better deal that we might be able to get.

okay, here's what we have so far. IT's only the first quote and we are waiting for a few more to come through.

TNT will do our tinting for:

mustangs - $129
4-doors - $149
SUV's - $169

Let's us know if you have any friends/family that might be interested.

if there are any other shops that you guys know about, get with them. Even if they are less than TNT, TNT will match the offer.

he quoted VA legal over the phone and said that we would have to discuss anything else at the time of the tint. I can see where he was coming from seeing that I could have been a cop just calling around. I am sure that he would.

I don't see why they should charge extra for more tint. A sheet of 20% tint costs the same as a sheet of 70% tint.

Now, I know that in VA they have tint restrictions, but since when is it illegal to install the illegal tint?

My car is registered in Michigan, so why should the tint shop not be allowed to put on whatever tint I want?

BULLSHIT.... if they charge extra for illegal tint.

i don't know if they are going to charge more, he just said that he would have to talk about illegal tint when we get there. Whether he was talking a higher price or just trying to keep his ass in the clear, I don't know.
