Wow!! VA is looking fucked!! i dont remember it getting that bad when Isabelle blew threw there a few years ago!! not looking forward to coming back that way just for that reason mostly, but i am looking forward to coming back to VA just to get back stateside. Glad to hear that everything worked out for you man, i kept imagining the worst through that whole story.

These storms are very rare for this area. I have lived here 26 years and isabelle and the past noreastern are the worst storms I have seen.

i really hope nothing bad comes that way when i come home! i loved the VA weather for the most part and im missing it terribly for realz!!

wont be long and i can enjoy it again. i really do miss the summers there.

Lol, reminds me of when I went through Katrina in 2005... THAT was a storm... I would post pics but I lost them all when my PC crashed that same year

We had 15 trees down in our yard alone.. both driveways were blocked and we had to cut our way out. That combined with no power anywhere for 3 weeks was horrible.

Storms like that and the one you just got are a prime reminder that Mother nature can still woop our ass.
