South Florida Here! Lake Worth.

And there is no more Friday night meet at Southern and 441...the rice ruined it a few years ago. I want to say they MIGHT still put together the little muscle car/classic car meet...but I'm not sure where at.

I am definitely down to getting a South Florida meet going on.


Aaaaaand.... Ken B. is an AWESOME tuner...I stand beside Ponygrrl and highly recommend him...he is who tuned my car, and he does an awesome job.

well, idk about rice ruining it more then punk kids prolly... booo... i went there a last year, there were some nice older cars, and the crowd was mostly older. to bad i'm in tampa, nothing like that around here.lol. i miss all the great cars in palm beach. you car sportchic is the most incredible car i've seen. i've never seen ya around the area though, i come down to royal palm and go through lake worthless sometimes.

There was a new meet fridays at southern & 441 that's been going on for the last year or so... earlier... not the "meet" you are thinking of lol. Started at like 5 or 6pm, mostly older cars and the older crowd. But recently I guess the plaza or some of the stores whined and it was either stopped or moved.

If you are thinking of the later 'faster' car meet that happened once the car show ended, it actually is because of the rice. I've been on the forum that put together those meets for over 5 years, and after we had moved it the cops intentionally drove through the lot we would meet at, with camaro's mustang's, birds, etc all sitting hanging out...and ask to make sure no rice was hanging out around us. They drive and act too dangerously around here...they would straight up blare their stereo's, do burnouts in the parking lots, try and drift the parking lots, and race RIGHT in front of the meet spot. lol They were baaad mmkay!

p.s. thank you for the compliment! I'm surprised you've never seen my car around...the poor thing gets driven so much...I'm surprised she's still stayin strong for me! lol

Ahh gotcha! I was wondering if they still did that! You and the other half visit it before they moved? It has been so long since I've been there. lol

Yeah we went a few times. Lots of hot rods haha. And my friend Squigy's hot rod club the Salvagerz were usually there.

ahhh.... true, yea, i've seen some stupid things that these guys with integras or hondas with fart cans trying to race each other. so dumb. thats a shame they don't do the meet anymore. now i remember it was by caraba's. i was lookin forward to it too... i've been livin in palm beach county since 98 and i've never seen your car around.

Well I don't know if you are on Need2Speed.com, but every few months we rent PBIR for the day for members only. There is a good South Florida section on there. At least it's some kind of action down here lol

hey sports chic, how much is it to rent the track for a day, or just for a few hours if you can do that?? i have yet to go down to PBIR since they changed the name from moroso.lol. i'll check out need2speed.com, never heard of it, sounds good though.
