Calling All Floridians!
Hey guys and gals... I am currently 25, and recently divorced. I have always wanted to move south and no one thinks that I will actually go through with it. Well idc what people think because im doing this for me.
So long story short... my goal is to be within a half an hour from a beach so if i have a shitty day at work, I can just head out and relax to vent on my own. Another thing I am looking for is somewhere that isnt going to be a bad part of town. Thats my biggest fear is settling in a place to find out that my mustang will be broken into every other week. the final piece is that i work for NTB or Tire Kingdom, and my goal is to simply transfer within the company. with that being said. bring on the locations and information pleaaaaaaase!!! thanks again! |

Brevard County. There's a Tire Kingdom that I've been to in Merritt Island. about 10 15 minutes from the beach.

I live in Kissimmee but I like St. cloud too because they're central so you're about 45 mins from the closest beach but you have Orlando close and you won't be far from the west coast either, with plenty to Tire Kingdom locations around. Really close to the beach, I would like in and around the space coast (Cape Canaveral area). Houses are going fairly cheap there because of the space program shutdown so people are moving away. Not sure about the auto jobs over there though.

Well I had written a long thought out reply but when I hit post I lost internet and the reply disappeared so here is the abridged version.
Find a city in Florida you like, shop for house within said city, once you find house you like ask members on here how that area of town is, once you find location you like go into your work and find the Tire Kingdom locations nearby, find a location that needs an experienced worked and get the transfer process started, get realtor and do what is needed to purchase house(be sure to have back-ups though), once you have house and job lined up move down and enjoy the Florida sun.

There are a lot of those company locations in Jacksonville. Just make sure to talk to someone from here that will tell where not to live. Big homicide rate in Jax, but it's mostly Nigs killing Nigs over drugs, so as long as stay out those areas it's not bad.

Hey why don't we keep the racism out of this conversation.
