..... a group of Corvette-owners in central Florida are hoping to start-up a monthly bracket-racing series at Lakeland Motorsports Park, just-off Exit 38 of I-4, in early '08:
we are also planning-on having additional classes for Mustangs, F-bodies, and MoPars compete on the same days, with the 4 Class Winners running-off for an additional prize.

Each class will be open to foot-brake cars (no delay-box devices ), and NHRA Safety rules will be enforced (no short-pants or sleeveless shirts, helmets & closed-toe shoes mandatory, no exposed mid-riffs....except for shapely female crew-members! ), and we plan to compete on Saturday afternoons, when neighboring tracks Bradenton Motorsports Park & Orlando Speed World aren't open, hoping to atract as-many cars as possible.

Anybody interested in competing, please post their questions here, and invite your friends who own any of the above-mentioned types of cars, so that we may compete in a safe and legal envoirnment:
