15 September Richmond Drag

Hey guys it's time again!
Gunslingers will be there that night so the track should be prepped nicely for us!

Anyone else going to go next Friday?

I'll be running with some weight reduction (Box from trunk, Spare and Jack) also I'll have some MT E/T's this time too!

Ed, How's Ryan coming along?

Lets do eeeeeeet!

Oh and gills99, here's your chance!

Oh yeah I did read that I just forgot to respond and I figured I would see you soon to chat with ya.

Anyway, come over tonight after work if possible.

While I really really appreciate the offer, I'm going to let the suspension stuff ride until next Friday just because I'm taking it in to DTP to finish that upper control arm. While it's on the lift I'll check stuff then.

Just help me with the torque specs will ya?

Oh and hell yeah I would love it if you went up there again bro!

Oh and Gills, yeah man no problem at all.

It's not that formal, just make sure you bring long pants.
If you think you are in the 11's I would bring a helmet in case they want to be hard, but I've never seen them enforce the helmet rule yet, it's always been optional.

If you think you are going to run sub 11.5's then you will need a cage in your car or they WILL make you leave, but hey at least you'll get one pass in.

The other little tricks I'll be happy to explain once we get up there, but there's tons of good reads on how to do it for the first time and not look like a total noober.

I know the TWR site has an awesome write up on beginners and the drag, but I don't have the link and absolutely refuse to go back to that site.
Some of the other locals know what thread I'm talking about maybe they will copy and paste here or at least link you to it.

Looking forward to it ninjas!

edit: cost is 15 dollars to run all night.
Gates open at 6, last staging at 9:30, gates close at 10 or 10:30
We usually like to hit up the waffle house by the track to BS some before bouncing back to hampton roads.
