not really looking to spend that much money, dude. i'm looking for more of working project. you know, something that might need some cosmetics but is somewhat sound mechanically. i would love to just start from scratch on a project, but i live in an apartment and don't really have anywhere to work on a car.

nice car though.

If you live in an apartment then I would recommend finding and almost finished vehicle...

I was in your same spot and it sucked living in apartments...

Im just now out of the apartment deal finally...Too bad my garage is filled with cars...

that's what i'm saying. i want something that runs but might need some paint or interior work. stuff that i can do myself on a saturday out in the back parking lot. or over at a buddy's house. well, not the paint. and, there's always the hobby shop on base. but this car wouldn't be my daily driver. so, i could afford to let it sit with no (insert vital component here), and it wouldn't effect me.

You might want to talk to your complex...Alot of them have clauses written into the contract about "fixer upper vehicles" sitting parked...

i spoke to a guy who lives here who's got the same thing going. and he said they don't mind, as long as it doesn't sit for too long, and isn't up on blocks or anything. but, that's why i want a RUNNING car. so, if i NEED to take something out, or have work done, i can leave it on base or at a friends house.

yeah. but they're usually spread out all over the country with 3 or 4 in your area. i'm not really rushing it. although, being on here talking to you guys and reading all this about working on, fixing up, bad-ass-ifying stangs, is really making me itch. but, i'll find one evntually. maybe i'm just too picky....?

I know this is a shoutout thread, so if anyone is in here is still looking to buy a Mustang try posting a separate thread in the regionals section and I'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions on where to find good deals on good Mustangs. I would try Craiglist personally, I always see a bunch of project Mustangs for sale on there for decent prices.
