where would be the best place to take my busted ass 86 GT to have it diagnosed, worked on, etc?

DTP - good for tuning.

Rick's Car Care - does everything except for major body and paint. I've had my engine and tranny rebuilt there along with lots of other stuff to my Mustang and truck.
