Newport News And Tidewater People... Help
What do you guys know about Waverton Place Impressions?
Here is the Apartment Complex Website I am thinking about moving in there...I am wanting to get the 1280 sq. ft. 3 Bedroom... I am moving in Feb 07...Well as long as I am back from the desert... Anybody live there or near by it? Or can anybody tell me what the area is like? Thanks Chris |

one of my friends used to live in impresions, not too bad... there are several apartment complexs around the oysterpoint area... personally i couldn't live in an apartment ever again, i once lived in forrest lakes right up the street from there, the management sucked

I would like to buy a house but the house market is too crazy now for me...Plus I dont knwo where my job is going to take me so I sorta have to stick with apartment for now...

Damn that is just nuts, i know that is the going price for homes here now but damn, back in texas for 195k, i could have a 2 story brick home, 3 car garage, 5 bedrooms 3 baths, on 2 acres of land for that much. and i am not lying either

oh I know. My fiance' and I just bought a two story 4BR, 2 1/2 bath, 2600 sq and we paid in the high 200's.

it is crazy, good for me because i bought back in '02 (4BR 2.5bath, 2car attached garage) for mid to low 100's

back home in kentucky my mom and dad have a house that appraises at $475K...And that is with all the land (13 Acres)...The house is just a touch under 5K Sq Ft Living Space...Here to even get close to that I am looking at a million or so...
Housing market is crazy here...I have a few friends that just got condos up in Williamsburg and gave around 200K for it...It is nice but damn housing is high... Thus I am living in Apartments right now becuase I dont knwo where I might be next year...And dont feel like having to seel a house in a year... But Hawaii is far worse...My cousin just gave $95K for a condo... |

Yeah right now I live off Magruder...
I am within Taxi range of alot of good places... My roommate is a bouncer at Manhattans so I can go there pretty easily... Its alittle bit more of a drive to langley though... Its alittle bit closer to everything else though... Which is goodtimes with me... |

i used to live off magruder at tradewinds. but i moved southside about 2 1/2 years ago. couldn't stand the commute anymore

i hear that, i did the commute for the last 4 years or so I feel you on that one, then i got offered a job in newport news which made all the difference, now i get an extra 1.5hours of sleep and only a measly 10minute drive
