I'm thinking about setting up a cruise around phx for this weekend or next. Depending on who can make it, we'll pick a central location for dinner and then tear up the streets. Who's in?

That sounds good to me! I'm probably going to Firebird Friday night also. I havn't ran my car since I have done my mods, I'm curious to see what I will run. Stock I ran a 14.6, ya I know shity time but I had not raced in ten years(just got my license back)

. Feel free to guess what you think my time will be with the mods listed. I have not had a tune yet. Let me know when and where you want to meet up this weekend. I live in Chandler and I'm in.

umm i ran a 14.6 even though that was on stock tires, all stock except CAI w/out tune...and it was my first ever drag run.... had a .3 reaction time though

I'd prefer to skip the fast food too (grease belongs in your car, not in your stomach

I'm hoping for mid 13's. I just bought the car three months ago and I came with some shity capitol tires on it. I spent my money on a paint job and these mods so I still have crap tires. I am a lot better driver now though.

word of advice, slicks will really help you...since i dont have them i haven't gone to the track other than one time...reason: Mad terrible wheel hop...i couldn't launch like i wanted for fear i'd break my axle. lol

Personally never taken mine to the strip so I'd probably be in the high 14s myself... the wheels look nice but not so great for fast times and I'm still running a stock tune. I did beat a newer 350Z last night from a roll, just in time to check the brakes for the cameras

Seriously! I just keep my eyes peeled for the yellow photo enforcement signs, ride the brakes up to the cameras and haul ass between them. If anything I speed MORE now cuz there's hardly ever real cops patrolling the roads.

yeah except when you get up to the cameras during the day everyone else is going like 55-60mph and fucking up everything...

I dont have a problem with wheel hop. I want slicks but in my car I will need 31 sline or else I will cause damage. Eventually I will get it all. Do your cars have IRS?
As far as those cameras go, I know where they all are but the people that slow down 5 mile under the speed limit are PISSING me off. You can still drive 9 mile over the speed limit and not get a pic.
