I am from Lawton man, just deployed at the moment. Looking to be back around june though.

tulsa has got the best track in oklahoma, but if your around central oklahoma, thunder valley isnt to bad. purcell here, which is just south of norman

What are our options in Oklahoma as far as reputable tuner shops go? I am going to be in need of a dyno shortly after I get home in June.

ABEL Racing you need a diablo handheld though. They do not do SCT

I was originally going to drive to HPP performance down near Dallas; but that is still one hell of a drive. Have any of you had ABEL do any work yet? I am debating if I want to replace the rotating assembly myself or take to a shop due to being lazy.

Able could be the place to do it. They build race cars Call around in okc. There is straight up performance in Lawton (right behind the sonic in Lawton on Sheridan right off rogers lane) And they do overhauls, but they are pretty pricey... There is a place in Elgin called Infinity race cars but I do not think they do outside jobs.

I shot a message to ABEL this morning and they have already written me back with good information and ideas. Just the fact they they wrote back sets them apart from most shops performance shops. I have written numerous emails to various shops for tech answers and have not heard back yet.

Red, there any good car groups in Lawton to link up with. It is fun to have a nice ride; but always more fun to meet new people and see what they have done to their cars.
(Disclaimer: I am not talking about the million honda's I see around that town that have can's welded onto the exhaust and a "Type-R" sticker slapped on the bumper)
