Customized 1996 Ford Mustang Is Perfect Reward for Finding Lost Dog

SAN ANTONIO — In her quest to find her lost dog, a slobbering 2-year-old English bulldog named Pork Chop, Latasha Armendariz decided to use her customized 1996 Ford Mustang in place of reward money. It worked.

Armendariz had just finished paying off her Mustang, which was decked out with several thousand dollars' worth of goodies. When a $500 reward didn't get the dog back, Armendariz decided to offer her vehicle as the bait. She told KABB-TV that it was worth the effort. "I saw Pork Chop [and I said], 'Here's the keys — bye,' " Armendariz said.

She intends to get another Mustang, and perhaps some kind of tether to keep Pork Chop in the yard.

What this means to you: One customized Mustang equals one slightly overweight bulldog.
