MY BROTHER BOUGHT A 1ST GEN TURBOED ECLIPSE ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND THOUGHT IT'D BE A GOOD RUNNER FOR MY STANG. SO WE FOUND THE ROAD WE RACED ON BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL AND LINED'EM UP. HE SAID WELL MY TURBO HAS TO BUILD UP BOOST SO WE HAVE TO START AT 40. SO WE TOOK OFF AND HE HIT THE HORN THREE TIMES AND WE FLOORED IT. I WALKED AWAY PRETTY QUICK. HE STUCK WITH ME STEADILY FALLING BACK, BUT IT WAS A GOOD RUN. I TOLD HIM, LAUGHING, THAT IT WAS FUNNY HOW MUCH MONEY HE HAD TO SPEND TO GET HIS CAR TO DO WHAT MINE WOULD DO STOCK. SO HE CAME TO ME AGAIN SAYING THAT HIS CAR WASN'T PUSHING FULL BOOST CUZ OF A LEAK OR SOMPN,SO HE WANTED TO RACE AGAIN, SO WE LINED UP AGAIN AT 40 ON 17 BYPASS. HE TOOK OFF ON THE SECOND HORN BLOW THIS TIME BUT I STILL LAUCHED AHEAD OF HIM. HE STILL FELL BACK MORE AND MORE AS WE GOT HIGHER IN SPEED AND I LET OFF AT 130. HE WAS THREE CARS BACK. CHEAA!! CAN'T BEAT RAW HORSES BABY. HE HAS A TURBOED WSX NOW AND WON'T TRY ME.

AGAIN.

^yeah they would be a much better car if they weremt so heavy....the 4g63 motors make real good power and love boost tho

tsi's are lighter and will run pretty hard with you a few mods and you should be good,

haha at the guy that was like TSI's are lighter and will take you for a real run...guess what? they are the same car, the gsx, rs, and the tsi are the same cars with minor body differences...same engine and drive train and the same weight... and what were your mods? a stock talon runs 15.0 in the 1/4 mile and 5.1 0-60mph

nice kill. if the eclipse was modded then it would of probably turned out different. i have a friend with a 97 gs-t with mods and it used to hang with me, another friend with a 02 with mods that will scare most v8's.

No look up the specs a TSI is 650 pounds lighter that the gsx. If you want my mods read my sig. And a tsi running a 15 is a pro driver. And no the rs isn't AWD or turbo. They are built on the same platform but are made from different materials and so forth. And a TSI stock wil take a stock gsx, and both will beat a rs.

umm no I beat gsx's all day long stock for stock the v6 mustang can take the gsx. They are very even cars which is sad since the gsx is turbo.

first off...what makes a newbie to this forum think he can put down a moderator like that. I'm sure he knows a thing or two about this stuff.

Second...i'm running nothing but true dual exhaust w/magnaflows and i took my friends gsx. It wasnt a huge win, but its still a win.
