2003 GTO

There is this guy who has a red GTO where i ive that always runs his mouth. Well on friday at the local street drags he asked em to race. I said sure figure I could use the practice launching. Well I took him by 2 car lengths. I spun thru first like aleways and so did he. then we both caught traction in second and I pulled away. He said he had to much pressure in his tires and wanted to race again. I said whatever and he let air out of his tires and I beat him again same distance. This was on my almost bald kumho's. He wants to race again this weekend. I said ok. I will have my 555r's, programmer and jlt cai all installed thisweekend though. We will see I guess.

He must be a pretty bad driver... Not trying to beat up on your kill, it was a nice kill by the way. But those goats are pretty quick. Just keep up with your mods like you are now and you shouldn't have to worry about a stock one...

My 40th is black. The gto had 20's on it and I just wanted to get it over with. I was shocked as s@#t that I won but kudos to me and sucks to be him.

The GTO is a poor car to have such a great motor in!They have an extremely hard time hooking which makes them VERY beatable from a dig! Try him from a 20mph roll and he will beat you maybe.Pending your mods of course!Good Kill though!

Nice Kill! I took a 6.0 GTO myself......well the 2nd time around....lol the 1st time i missed 3 n had to put it in 4th... lol

Raced an 05 gto last night. 50 to 120. He beat me but only by about a car length. Another one rolling on 20's (had the nifty 20" Dub emblem on the side). It was red with red tint. Even the girlfriend commented on how gay it looked. He didnt like that.

i havent lost to a gto yet, 5.7 or 6.0 (from a roll or a dig) but they are very fast. i wanted to trade the mustang in on one but the wife was getting madder by the sec when i kept talking about it. nice kill, its no your fault if the other guy has more money (and a bigger mouth) than talent, a win is a win especilly if its all driver error.

:werd: the powerplant on the GTO is very capable. However, IRS and the fact that they are pig heavy really hurt their performance. I have yet to lose to one. I have raced several that had HCI and full exhaust. It was close at the big end but I killed him on the launch.
